Student Account Services - FAQ
Log into BCM CAMS Student Portal. Select the academic term and navigate to 鈥淢y Student Account鈥 to view your statement for the term and/or remit payment.
Students will be issued a "refund," whenever the amount of funds applied to their student account exceeds the amount of tuition and fee charges billed to them. Many students choose to accept more financial aid funds than are needed to pay their tuition and fees so they can receive a refund to pay for their books and living expenses. Students will also be issued a refund if their charges are reduced after they have paid their balance; this most often occurs if a student has paid for health insurance and is subsequently approved for a waiver, or if a student takes a leave of absence and is eligible for a partial tuition refund.
Student Account Services uses service to issue student refunds and reimbursements. Contact SAS for your login information to select your preferred refund method. Refund method options include:
- Direct Deposit to a checking or savings account (Recommended)
- Discover Cashback Checking Account Card
- Paper Check - Mailed to Student鈥檚 Address
Student Account Services has 14 calendar days of the date the credit appeared on your student account in order to issue a refund. When Student Account Services has processed a refund, it will appear on the student's account with the description "Student Refund." On that date, it will be issued to the student via the method the student has chosen in RefundSelect (if no method has been chosen, it will be mailed to the student's address on record).

All student accounts are automatically billed for the health insurance plan at the beginning of each semester. If the Benefits Department has approved a health insurance waiver before the start of the term, the student's account statement will show that health insurance was billed and then reversed on the same day.
Student Account Services cannot accept payments for a student's tuition, fees, or insurance before their account has been billed for these charges. Fall billing occurs in July (either the first or last week, depending on the student's program/year), and spring billing occurs at the beginning of January.
Charges for the following year are announced and published online by mid-April.
