Match Day 2026
On Friday, March 20, fourth-year medical students at 91¹ú²úÊÓƵ learned where they will continue their medical training for the next three to seven years. Match Day culminated the annual National Residency Matching Program, which paired fourth-year medical students with residency programs across the country.
Baylor continued its strong tradition of its students matching into primary care fields, where physicians are most critically needed, with many students staying in Texas and at Baylor.
- 72 students, or about 40 percent of the students matching, are beginning their residencies in the primary care fields of family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, medicine/pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology or emergency medicine.
- 53 students matched with residency programs at 91¹ú²úÊÓƵ.
- 90 matched with residency programs in Texas.
