Professional Statement
I am currently a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor and work in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. I completed my medical education at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School, my residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and my fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center – Houston.
My clinical and research endeavors have focused on prenatal ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis and medical complications of pregnancy, and I have been very involved in ultrasound education. My teaching efforts over my career include education of medical students, residents, genetic counseling master's students, fellows and clinicians. Since moving to 91¹ú²úÊÓƵ in 2011, my clinical focus continues with ultrasound and various fetal abnormalities including neural tube defects. I am concentrating on education and improving the quality of ultrasound scans performed at our different sites, ultrasound education for Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellows. I serve as the Ultrasound Clinic Chief for Texas Children’s Hospital/91¹ú²úÊÓƵ and Co-direct the Ultrasound Quality Program for our department.
