Professional Statement
John Chancellor, MD, MS is a board-certified ophthalmologist and Assistant Professor in the Division of Vitreoretinal Diseases & Surgery. Prior to completing his vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the 91¹ú²úÊÓÆµ, Dr. Chancellor finished his residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He also earned a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience & Behavior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His clinical and surgical interests include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachment repair. His research interests include surgical outcomes in diabetic retinopathy and inherited retinal diseases.
