Professional Statement
I am the Laboratory Director of the Human Tissue Acquisition and Pathology Core at 91¹ú²úÊÓƵ. As the Core director, my role is to facilitate the collection, processing and molecular analysis of human tissues and I manage services for histology, immunohistochemistry, and imaging of research tissues from mouse or human origin. My research interests are primarily in the field of cancer biology and my goals are geared toward directly or indirectly impacting the lives and outcomes for cancer patients. This appointment allows me to help facilitate the research of my peers at BCM through tissue distribution and specialized laboratory expertise.
