Professional Statement
My training as a Web site designer began at The Art Institute of Houston, and I continued expanding my skills by completing numerous professional development programs. In addition to more than 13 years of experience in graphic design, photography, video production and web development, I incorporated a wide range of new-media skills into my skill set.
Before joining the Center for Educational Outreach, I developed and created Web sections and/or Web sites for Baylor’s Institutional Web Management team, Rice University’s Baker Institute, and The University of Texas Health Science Center. I also manage my own company, Circapoint Media, which provides multimedia services to a wide variety of clients.
The goal of my work with the Center is to increase its Internet presence. As part of that goal, I led the redesign of Baylor’s BioEd Online Web site, and developed two additional educational Web sites, SuperSTAAR and STAAR Share. Additionally, I produce photos, video and motion graphics content under the aegis of the Center for Educational Outreach.
