Let's Talk 91¹ú²úÊÓƵ Alzheimer's Research: A Community Event
91¹ú²úÊÓƵ, Houston Methodist Hospital, the Duncan Neurological Research Institute at Texas Children’s Hospital and the Alzheimer’s Association have partnered to host "Let's Talk 91¹ú²úÊÓƵ Alzheimer's Research: A Community Event" to provide community members with information about ongoing research studies taking place at these Texas Medical Center institutions on Alzheimer’s disease and related causes of dementia.
This event will be held on Friday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute, 1250 Moursund St., Houston, TX 77030.
The event is free and open to the public. During the two-hour program experts will explain Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, if early detection is possible, how genetic testing can be used, current research opportunities, and how to participate/enroll in those initiatives.
Space for this event is limited and registration is required. If you would like to attend this event, please follow this to save your spot.
Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, masks will be provided and are required to be worn during the event, and all attendees must have received an initial COVID-19 vaccination series.
Light refreshments will be served. Parking will be available at the McGovern Commons, 6550 Bertner Ave., and will be validated after the event.
